Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions Engineer (Full Time) Location: Galway, Ireland
Role Overview We’re seeking a skilled Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions engineer to provide expert technical support, contribute with a team of highly engaged customer focused engineers, and manage cloud and on-premises IT projects. You’ll collaborate with customers, resolve technical issues, ensure successful deployments, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical support for on-site and remote customer needs.
- Maintain effective external relationships with vendors, consultants, and service providers; leveraging these relationships to ensure that the best fit solutions and resources are available to the company.
- Oversee medium to large-scale IT projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Manage and resolve escalated technical issues.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Mentor and support the development and excellence of engineers across the team.
- Research and test new product offerings which may become part of our service offerings.
- Participate in after-hours maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and/or on-call availability.
- Maintain clear communication with customers and management.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Virtualisation, Networking, and Security.
- Experience with Hybrid IT Solutions (Cloud and On-Prem).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Servers, Active Directory, SQL Server.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, endpoint protection, and backup solutions.
Essential Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Relevant third-level degree or equivalent.
- Full clean driver’s license
