Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. This role will involve data entry tasks using their in-house accounts package. The successful candidate will undergo hands-on training for 1-2 days per week initially.
Office Location: Ballybane, Galway
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary
Training and Coverage Schedule:
- Training: 1–2 days per week until fully trained.
- Summer Period: 1 day per week.
- Potential for Contract Extension: Following the initial temporary period, there may be an opportunity to extend the contract on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Enter credits onto customer accounts using the in-house accounts system.
- Debtors Ledger Management: Manage debtors ledgers, including sending out statements to customers via the system.
- Payroll Admin: Assist with payroll administration tasks.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in data entry and accounts systems preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, proficiency with accounting software, basic understanding of payroll processes (optional).
